I feel like the bmw is just as fast stock. I read in motorcyclist ricky ran a 9.31 with a 14r that was strapped and gearedl. the 1000rr ran 9.50's stock. liter bikes that are de-restricted can keep up with this thing up until around 180. instead of stroking it for torque it needs more top end im not that impressed for 1400+ ccs

THIS BIKE IS BAD ASS

just you forgot one thing...
once time a queen, always queen
But nice try... :) zx14 is as fast as it is ugly!
Hahaha!

@thepostman317 Obviously you ARE completely mistaken, you know in a similar fashion to your parents forgetting to use a condom. But cheers to you on your close mindedness.

@thepostman317 u chat fuckin bullshit the busa is not as fast as the old zzr so it fuckin wont beat the new 2012 zzr thats a fact

@Tamadrummer1981 As it was in the 70's Kawasaki is King of the Quarter Mile. Long live the King.

hmm let me do a quick math problem...new bike+bigger engine>not new bike+smaller engine. Pointless (but very cool) video

I Ride a 02 Busa. My respect to that ZX14 but I WILL NOT back down from a road race.
-
Looks like the rider on the busa can't launch

too BIG for the motorcycle
2012 ZX-14R = 195hp and 120lb/ft of torque at the rear wheel.
2012 Hayabusa = 170hp and 101lb/ft of torque at the rear wheel.
You Suzuki guys can stop whining now, the 'Busa can't win this fight, no matter how bad you want it to.

@thepostman317 Wrong, go be a butt-hurt Busa fanboy somewhere else. The only thing that was limited on the Busa was the TOP SPEED of the motorcycle (300km/h or 186 mph), which neither of these bikes came close to in their 1/4 mile run. Also, the second generation Busa 2008+ are faster all the way around than the first gen. Finally, the reason the ZX-14 won is because it's faster. A LOT faster.
