  • at 1:40 what in the world was that noise? And that puppy on the top of the stairs was superman!

  • @johnnysaingfilms It was that insane laugh at the beginning of "Wipe Out" playing on the kennel stereo. Oh, and that would be superWOMAN - this litter was all girls! We still have two of them, Bette and Hilda, kept them for our breeding program. Still beautiful and SUPERdogs!

  • Don't worry, some of them don't get those ears up for awhile. It's different with every GS puppy. Look at the parents - are their ears up? Then your puppy's will get there too. The worst thing you can do is try and make them stand with tape, etc - that can damage the cartilage, then they'll always flop.

  • Because if we didn't she might injure or even kill them. When a puppy is first weaned from its mother it still wants to nurse. The mother's natural reaction is to growl and sometimes snap at them. Pups can be injured or killed during that transition.

  • I have a German Shepherd and she is wonderful! A little tip for anyone with a new Shepherd pup who's ears are not standing yet: Give them teething toys or anything hard yet safe for them to chew on! I hear from a few breeders that working the jaw bone and muscles in that area helps alot!

  • awesome. I want one!!!

  • @selfdestruct54321 - It might be late now. When I got my 2nd GSD, his ear was not coming up even after 6 months, so I talked to the vet and he said it won't come up. People discourage taping the ears for some obvious reasons, but if you do it properly, it should be okay. I taped his ear and after 4 days, it was straight! He lived for 13 years with no health issues. Now I have my 3rd GSD :-)

  • They already have sharp ears

  • Would my 1 yr old beagle get along with a German shepard puppy

  • Wow my shepherd is 8 months old now and her ears still arent up yet those puppies are already up!

  • Great GSD
