Why all the hating on his voice? Because he's not singing in the same octave range or moving the same note steps of Kris?

He's singing where he's comfortable. And if you listen, the the incorporated non-diatonic passing tones are executed beautifully. Whether this was intentional or happened on the day of recording, it came out well.

Well done, man! I enjoyed this very much. Keep it up! You have a voice, no doubt. :)
