Lee Trevino was one hell of a shotmaker. I saw him play in the Texas Open and the 50th PGA at Pecan Valley. If you look at Lee's swing note how short his backswing is--that is the reason he was so accurate. I am convinced that is one of the keys to a consistent golfswing and Lee knew that.

In the days of "super atheletes" who have been coached analyzed, scrutinized, and generally put to the will of somebody other than themselves, it still is refreshing to see self-taught guys still out there talking about wind, playing the ball low, and digging it out of the dirt.
