OK, your not a breeder so how can you go on saying what u would or wouldn't do? Yes being a member of the CKC you are listed with them. But the CKC does not do enough for some breeders. They only give them so much advertising.
OK so advertising on your own website, Good idea, now kijiji - for example - you can place a FREE ad on said site so advertise your OWN website. Which you can do.

I have to agree to a point. But good breeders do sell their puppies on kijiji. I got three of my dogs on kijiji. All three did come with health certs and no issues. Its common sense, dont get the dog if you can't see the parents and the dog does not come with health cert, don't get it! Common Sense!!!

we got our puppy from kijiji, hes happy and heathy, if it wasnt for kijiji, where would i go to get a kangol shepherd, i say leave kijiji alone.

i couldn't! i found the best pom puppy ever on an ad through kijiji! great breeder too! we have no local kennels where i'm from, just awful puppy mills. i'd much rather go through a local, hobby breeder! buyers need to use common sense! research the breeder posting the ad, meet them & see all the puppies first, and make sure you see the mom & dad of the puppies!much better then going to a pet shop where you dont know where your animal came from or what living conditions it was brought up in!

because there are too many good breeders who use kijiji to advertise their puppies! i bought my pom from an ad from kijiji, she is the best puppy, very healthy! i love the breeder i met & she continues to answer my questions on training & such. buyers need to be aware & use their head! of couse there are bad breeders, but meet them first, dont just send money!

i agree! i bought a wonderful pomeranian puppy i saw off an ad from kijiji. i went to the breeder's home and selected my puppy & the breeder & i have an open communication, if i have a question, she is quick to respond. i am so happy with my puppy & kijiji! this puppy is better then any in a pet store! people need to do research & meet the breeder & see the puppies first before buying!

animal shelter do not always have what you want. i agree to try to save a life first, but if you want a certain small pure breed dog, they most likely dont unless its older. what if you want a tea cup yorkie or tea cup pomeranian that is a puppy? of course you are not going to find that in a shelter! just buyer beware & do your research to find a "reputable" breeder! visit the breeder's home, that is the best way. dont fly in a dog you never met or know where it came from.

omfg parvovirus dont shout the dog it can be heal a know a did it like 5 or 6 times for my friend wtf

Dont buy pups on line!!! Go to your animal shelter they have every puppy you would want
If I was a "good breeder" there is no way that I would use the same marketplace as puppy millers and back yard breeders - and that includes places like Kijjiji and newspapers - it is completely unnecessary - if you are a responsible breeder, then you are a member of the CKC and you can be listed with them, and be in their directory, and advertise on your own website and through word of mouth - puppies are not a product to a responsible breeder - they are a happy happenstance.
