This beast has alot of physical and magical defense so Jade was pretty much out of the picture. It has lower physical defense so I went ahead with all out melee. Natalia's purpose was to obviously support the party with buffs and debuff the boss with scare shot; which actually was very useful.

Other than that it was a hi ougi fest until the end.

  • This video reminds me one of the reasons I dislike Abyss battle system, you have an awesome party gang rape combo going and then it randomly dies after 70 hits just because

  • @Kevassa02

    You mean technical downs?

  • It's so refreshing to see Natalia in the party for a boss battle - I prefer her over Tear a thousand times more for reasons I'm not accurately sure why. The battle was pretty much a bit of the same thing repeatedly, but I suppose that's what you come to expect in Tales of the Abyss.

Good battle and strategy. For some reason I never took this battle seriously enough to actually come up with a strategy to win easily, then again, from what I recall, my battle with this guy took about 25 mins.

At first I wasn't sure how to respond to that other than "Its tales. Then abyss on top of that." Can't really expect too much especially considering unknown mode. I originally planned on just chuggin' through this boss but I got tanked by its massive defensive capabilities.

  • Looks like a fun boss to fight against with all the hi ougis.

And I think there's a mistake in the description where the 2nd 'went' should be ' with' or any other alternative :)

  • @AhGweeV2 Ohohoh thanks for pointing that out. Good to see people read the descriptions. Indeed, I enjoyed this battle. Everyone got the opportunity to go crazy.

  • @dagoldenclip2 You can call that it, but it doesn´t go "down" at all. Symphonia had it down much better by making the enemy kneel down if the combo lasted too long, here they just randomly get out of the combo unless you constantly juggle them in the air where they can´t recover
