I am Cheryl Leigh Cullop (now Green) Miss West Virginia Teen USA 1987. And yes, actually we were instructed to scream like 'banshees' into the cameras that day. Bobbie Brown, btw, was actually really cool and wasn't a snob like some of the girls. I was just a country girl and felt bad for some of the girls that got picked on by the snobs. So much fun though. Seriously a blast!

You can tell just by their faces that Georgia, Illinois, Mississippi, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Texas and Tennessee were the snob blondie bitches of the pageant!

@missyc79 NO. The winner was actually Miss Lousiana Bobbi Brown. Most of the blondes were stuck up which is so stereotypical. Miss Texas Teen thought she was going to win since the Miss Texas 1987 was Miss USA. So when she didn't she flipped out in the dressing room after. LOL. A lot of the girls were really mean to Miss Hawaii Teen. It was sad. Some of the girls were so picked on, and would cry. I had just joined the pageant cause my Mom had asked me to. It was just an adventure.
