David Munyon - Song for Mother Mary - Dresden Dreikönigskirche - Sept. 09th, 2010

Here's one I recorded yesterday. And I proudly say that this is the absoluty fu**** best recording I EVER made. I met David right before the concert and asked him about filming and he replied "No problem, Cool, that's cool!" So here's the first shot I did with permission of the artist.
The concert was absolutey stunning. There was an awesome acoustic and Biber Herrmann on the second guitar and backvocals did a great job, as well. There were about 120 people at this concert, everyone was quite throughout the songs, just clapping in between.
So the sound of my recording is amazing. I used two cameras, one on tripod and one handheld and mixed both sources together. There will be more uploads from this concert but it will take sometime. For now I picked the "Song for mother Mary" because I requested it during the break and cause it's simply breathtaking and heartbreaking to me. I'll hope you enjoy it just as I do. And then go out and buy his CD's - he's one of the most kept secrets in Americana - Folk - Acoustic music . THANK YOU, DAVID!
