superABSORBER

superABSORBER is a proposal for a new kind of highway wall barrier system which in addition to mitigating light and noise pollution also absorbs airborne pollution. It is a simple and easy to implement idea with exponential effects. It will quickly help in the significant reduction of greenhouse gasses that contribute to global warming.

SuperABSORBER was designed by fieldoffice and is our proposal for the 10 to the 100th competition by GOOGLE, which will help selected projects become a reality. Imaginative idea.Aside from the environmental benefits, would be a intriguing visual presence. i can remember, as a kid, watching the concrete barriers whiz by the car window as i traveled along interstates.how much more of a fascinating visual barrier would this be!
