It's my pleasure to present Gigabyte entry level P55 motherboard. It's a mATX solution that doesn't have some of the higher end features like sophisticated VRM cooling and SLI/Crossfire, but you can still expect excellent performance out of this small package.

  • I don't understand. You said no support for Crossfire. CrossfireX is printed on the board. What is Crossfire X ? PS Love Gigabyte boards !

  • It won't support it properly. The bottom PCIe slot is only going to run at 4x off the chipset. For full speed crossfire you need to have the PCIe lanes off the CPU PCIe controller.

Performance WILL be impacted if you try to run Crossfire on this board.

  • Nice vid and I have this board, but it's a poor example to put your hands over it. It comes in anti-static bag for reason.

  • entry level? for me, this is a main level Mobo :P

  • I have this board in my computer along with a GeForce 9500 GT. Recently I went out and bought another GeForce 9500 GT for a great price on Cyber Monday.

Lo and behold, I went and got my box for this motherboard only to realize it doesn't support Crossfire and SLI like I originally thought.

Would it still be worth it to install the other video 9500 GT card even without SLI and Crossfire support?

  • very happy with this board really stable and easilly overclockable regarding the north bridge i am using custom mosfet heatsinks for cooling the mosfet and they stay in place with the provided thermal pad cpu temp stays @34c on air this is my current set up for now in a micro atx case. but for some reason i did a fresh install of battle field 2 doesnt work at all but bad company 2 and far cry load no problem any advice will help!

  • @Ksp1337 cooks in a bad way or good way im curious what do you do for cooling, i just ordered this board and 16gb of ram using a core I3-530 for my 1st build and i have xfx 5670 as a main card + 9400gt for the physx will this be okay on this board?

  • @Ksp1337 Yes, on the top. I have this MB and I run a GeForce 470GTX with a GTS250 running the PhysX. Plays BFBC2, Black Ops, Mafia II, and most new games on full graphics. If you get the full 16mb ram this thing cooks. Hope that helps.

  • Oh i got the samme motherboard !

What you told about the pci express ports means that it's best to have your graphics card in the top pci port? is that right?

    Feedback please ;)
