Footage of an activity from my Hebrew 330 class on November 13, 2009. Students' faces are not shown, to protect their privacy. By this point in the semester, students know to use מה־זה to ask for the name of an unfamiliar item. In this lesson, they learn to use למה־זה to ask what an item is for, and to answer למה־זה with an infinitive construct form. I'm sharing these videos for purposes of helping myself and others improve in the use of communicative pedagogy for teaching Biblical Hebrew.
