  • well piss off then!!!

  • ive lived there all my life too

  • @SlowDownProduction87 I've lived in Basildon all my life and it hasn't changed very much at all from 2006... I love it and as long as it doesn't change I never want to leave :)

  • I moved away from Badildon 5 years ago for Uni commitment then ended up living in Bournemouth. Moving back to Basildon in 2012 & looking forward to it. I like Basildon but I don't know if that's because I have been away for such along time?

  • Basildon is the worst town in the world. Even people in Basra look down their noses as Basildon.

  • @stevecherm I think Basildon has improved year after year. Eastgate, Festival Leisure, Gloucester Park, The Library and theatre, upgraded housing across the district, the new Olympic sports centre, Watt Tyler Park, and lots more. It's a forwards moving town. I'm saddened by the influence of London gang culture on some of our youth, but the biggest problem in the shopping area is the way that greedy landlords are pricing the little guys out of retail. Still, I think Basildon rocks!

  • ive lived in basildon all my life.the councils should concentrate on getting new buisnesses and refurbishment and not hollywoodesq signs and sculptures that no one wants.

  • Good to see some of the basildon scum referred to have made an appearance- threatening to kill each other through Youtube...nice.

  • @lazellbell

people from grays/thurrock go to Lakeside, where there is better and more shops.

Basildon is a bit scummy, the only thing good about basildon is the festival les bit...not the shops!

  • @stevecherm i live is basildon andi agree with you
