I saw "Curtains" on broadway with the original cast and I can honestly say that this is one of the best sung version I've found on youtube beside the broadway version. You've got an amazing voice and I don't think it was operatic at all, he sung it the way it's suposed to be sung.

That last line sounds kind of harsh Sorry.. Like I said, the program can only do what there is money for. I think we have a very good choral program in Monroe and as a result good singing in the shows. The chorography in the shows is good, overall. But many kids need acting direction. Someone below said that if they overact, it's because they do it on their own. Well, what is there a director for? SHouldn't he be guiding them?

I agree with singsingsing1, alot of the monroe kids overact. And he overrehearses them. I doubt Mr. Director is considered 1 of the best in the state. Nick is good, and now he is getting classical voice training, but not acting, which is what he needs. MTHS kids do the best they can with what they have in the program, based on how much money the district gets for this type of thing, but SPlink51, do you ever go to shows at other high schools? Some of them make Monroe look like a backyard show
