  • I love the lick Jones threw in here. Never heard it any other version or performance of Seventeen.

  • @mikekole Jones was so underrated it is almost ridiculous.

  • Jones was and still is a ridiculously under rated, Sid, couldn't really play, and with the heroin it just went down the drain, but he created an image and Rotten is just Rotten, nuff said, McClaren was a dick, a user and only Johnny saw him for what he was, i blame Malcolm for Sids death.

  • I can occasionally hear a "dum dum dum" from Sid's bass, and it's in tune, but he never even attempts those tricky three-note changes that distinguish the better junkie punk rock bassists. He's all right for the first half of the first verse of God Save The Queen but then the tempo gets away from him. At least he looks like he's trying.

  • @Hacker73 At their height The Pistols topped the singles charts and- I think- the album charts- They were far from unknown or unappreciated- Punk was the biggest fashion in decades- This was an amazing performance- It'll stay amazing for generations to enjoy-- Sure- it was about the fakeness of the music biz- a protest- The Pistols though got ripped off by McLaren- He made them and Swindled them- Lydon nearly killed because no taxi money and public enemy #1- Vicious paid with his life

  • DAMN this is an amazing show

  • Why do the greatest bands have to be SO under-rated and so under-appreciated? Simple: the Industrial "Music" SHITSTEM is ruled by PERVERT PSICHOPATICS who only want sell ROTTEN UGLY SHIT FAKES such as Madonna and Gaga and they want made us all a bunch of billions of MOROMS with NO sense of good taste for so good things and REAL TALENTED ARTISTS such as Concrete Blonde, Runaways, Bolshoi, Alphaville, Irene Cara, Sinead O'Connor, Kim Carnes, Sandra, Laura Branigan, Randy Bush, Suzi Quatro...

  • @SexPistolsChannel there was some surprise riffs on some of the live albums on vinyl - that blew me away, it was real unexpected stuff. Johnny later said that Steve could hold a note in a real distinctive way and make it sound totally brilliant. -- Steve may have been my favorite Pistol - but all of them took their jobs so seriously so its hard to make up my mind

  • I learned to play the drums listening to these guys... and Yes.

  • hehehe i found the punk rock movie vhs in the video store of a hick town less then 2000 ppl up in nothern missouri in the early 90s... hehehe too funny...

  • @WayneWiblin his timing is always off

  • @mikekole if its the same one i think your talking about look up 1977 stockholm version of this song.
