CBC Newsworld International used to be on our cable system before it was replaced by Current TV. I looked forward to watching The National every weeknight on CBC Newsworld because it was straightforward news reporting without the gimmicks and silliness... and I really miss The National and CBC Newsworld.

For an evening news intro several years old, it's about to surpass 100,000 views. Take note, CBC. The relatively new intro and set theme is so banal and at less than 10% relative views implies that something went amiss when composing the new theme. I was hoping that the 75th anniversary would merit a new remake. Unfortunately, this is scratching the surface of the real problem of the CBC - journalistic integrity and flirting openly on television.
