Great video...As time passes, more archeological evidence will be found to prove the Bible to be historically accurate. I don't think that will help to persuade Atheists and such to become Christians though. Without faith, anything can be explained away. I know from past experiences. I only came to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ because He drew me to Him. This video helps to cement my faith even more though. :) God bless.

@atheistjacob I have to agree with you there. Even if there is historical evidence to support an asteroid hitting an area(Which I would assume would have created a massive crater where the place used to be) it is not proof any god did it. Just as in many religions there is reference to a massive flood at some point. Religion incorporates events that have happened and tries to explain them.

Sorry, but anyone could have written about a giant rock that fell from the sky and destroyed a couple of cities. That doesn't mean that a "god" did it. Asteroids and meteors come close to Earth quite often from what I hear but that doesn't mean that they are sent from a magical sky daddy. And sure. I'll give that the Bible has a few documented historical events in it, but that also doesn't mean that it was inspired by your magical sky daddy.

I missed how this proves the idea of a jewish or christian god. Because some person saw an asteroid hit about the same time as one of the stories in the bible just means that an asteroid hit about the same time as is protrayed in the bible. The person seeing this would certainly not have known it was an asteroid and would have attributed iit to the gods Rather than prove the version in the bible it actually disproves it. It was not hand of god. Just earth being in the wrong place, wrong time.

Just because something as epic as a meteor strike is recorded in the bible, even though it isn't, doesn't prove anything about the authenticity of the bible.
