I'm black and I don't think that louis ck is getting away with anything. The reason that he can do this brand of comedy is because it isn't racist. Talking about race doesn't equate to racism. Black comedians discussing race in a way that can be laughed about isn't racist. By the way, this entire skit is ANTI-RACIST. You missed the entire point.

You need to check out some of Bill Cosby's work. His stand-ups were funny as hell, and his routines never included race-based jokes, crude sex jokes, or four-letter words. I'm sure there are other funny black comedians who also don't infuse race in their stand-ups. Just can't think of them now.

Actually it is. His grandfather was hungarian and moved to mexico where he married a mexican. Louie's father was born in mexico, and Louis himself was born in DC but raised in mexico until he was 7. It's all on wikipedia, but if you just look up Louis CK mexico, you can find interviews of him talking about it in his own words.

You're really close to being right except for the breed part. Just do yourself a favor and read the Wikipedia page on breed, it will take you two seconds I promise. You're mistaking a breed for a "genus". A gorilla is a genus of primate, not a breed.But they are different breeds of gorilla. breeds is a non-scientific of them having different characteristics, but its the same animal. So technically race are breeds of human, just that'd be horrible way of putting it. I hope that clears things up.

Oh really now? Where is the evidence of this Gorilla-Chimpanzee offspring you're referring to? Even if by chance an offspring like that did one day exist, at best it would be like a liger at most: an infertile animal that can never produce offspring. And if you think 'mixed' children are infertile, then you must be blind.

Sorry, I rely on evidence, not myths. And you should stop reading outdated 19th century eugenics books and start reading contemporary 21st century biology books & journals.

I'm sorry but a Gorilla and a Chimpanzee can mate, but they don't do that in nature because it's unnatural.The myth that mixed-children are healthy was debunked numerous times but you won't read or hear that on the liberal media.

You don't even know what a breed is.A domestic cat is a breed, a Gorilla is not.The homo sapiens is the result of evolution, the ability to adapt to a certain living condition and not by breeding.You should turn the TV off and start reading books.

Sorry, but you're wrong, scientifically and biologically speaking. Can chimps and gorillas mate and have healthy offspring? The simple answer is no. Different "breeds" of apes cannot mate, or else humans, a breed of apes, would be able to mate with monkeys...

The very fact that whites and blacks can mate and have healthy offspring means they both belong to the same breed of apes, i.e. homo sapiens.

"Breeds" = Humans, Gorillas, Chimps

"Races" = Whites, Blacks, Asians

That's the difference.

I'm not taking sides in the argument here but you're incorrect, biologically speaking. Different "races" of humans are exactly the same as different "breeds" of apes. It's the same species separated by geography, which accounts for the differences in characteristics. Different races can reproduce, just like different breeds can. More importantly, I love Louis CK and this bit is hysterical.
