During an engineering project in Poland, Danish Torben Svendsen booked a small and primitive recording studio after working hours almost every evening to keep away from the temptation of alcohol and young girls in the nightlife of Torun.
At start it was more a personal therapy than a regular recording.
After some time the band Kobranocka, that was recording in the day time showed interest in the project, joint in and a new band was born; THE SVENDSEN SINGERS.
Unfortunately Torbens daytime activity in Poland ended in the summer of 2005 and the band never finished the recordings of all 18 songs but a few songs are finished and can be downloaded on this site. Only one video was shot but never really finished (Little soldier Video). The Svendsen Singers are still waiting for the moment and the founding, to continue and finish the recording of The Svendsen Singers first album and to make more videos.

The Svendsen Singer are inspired by past century music like:
Deep Purple, Let Zeppelin, Steve Miller Band, Journey, AC DC, Areosmith, The Cult, ABBA, April Wine and Mothers Finest.
