@fourtywpm i have 7 zebra finches and they don't make a peep at night and even in the day they aren't noisy at all plus when it starts getting just a little darker outside like 6 or 7 they don't make any noise and settle down. they are great pets and are really easy to take care of too, it's also fun to see them play because they are really comical. just to let you know they have to be kept in pairs because they are VERY social birds and may commit suicide if left by themself

@Dillon1108 i had 5 finches (society and zebra) in the cage with a parakeet before and they NEVER fought, but then i got another parakeet and had to seperate them, my cage was 2 feet by 1 foot, but idk if you'll have the same thing happen:P

Hmm... cute but these little guys are noisy yeah? I was thinking about getting a couple for my small apartment but not sure if they'll keep me awake at night. Any thoughts?

Hi,If you know about them more i have a question would appreciate if u can help me...
I just got 2 from my friend but both are males, the cage is 20 inches high and 18 wide. Would it be a small place for them if i buy two more female.... is that possible to keep them like that and would they breed or fight??
Thanks.

If you wanted to add a couple of females, it would be a good idea to get a larger cage. That is pretty small to have 4 finches. The other alternative would be to see if you could trade 1 of the males for a female and just have the 1 pair.

can you keep these and budgies together?

I wouldn't. If there is no breeding going on and if the cage is large enough, they MIGHT be ok, but I would not take the chance. The finches would be fine with Cockatiels since they are not as aggressive as Budgies though.
