@AdverbAdjective Yea... but the chassis blows lol. Sucks because it might even be terrible enough to let the ZL1 outrun it in a straight line and through turns. The S197 GT500 is a HORRIBLE platform and SVT/Shelby need to put time into revising it before throwing the 'most powerful production V8' in it. They need weight reduction, better weight distribution, possibly a solid rear axle, better gearing, and any other changes that hinder this huge V8's potential.

Sure, people can say that they are too many mustangs. However there are "too many" for a reason. The bang for your buck factor, the fun factor, and probably the most important factor is that the mustang is a legend. Everyone knows somebody who has owned or owns a mustang, and it has stood the test of time.

Cut the roof off this sports car and bad things are STILL happening. What a way to destroy the look of such a fantastic car. I'll keep my 5.0 coupe, thank you very much.

@sexyboi142 I reallyl doubt it, it was announced during the Detroit Auto show that production will not begin until January 2012, which means that the first cars should hit the market by around April or June of 2012.

You guys do make some good points, though the 05-10 GT's had a 4.6. Though the GT500 got the iron block 5.4 followed by the aluminum block 5.4, those motor belonged to both the Cobra R and Ford GT beforehand. Of the motors currently in production, I can't see the truck based 6.2's making it in for sheer dimensions and weight. Although it is likely they will stay with the 5.4 as 2014 is an anniversary year for Ford. I want to say its the 50th anniversary of the Mustang.
