I didn't understand this movie. Can anyone explain to me why she was at that drug clinic (With the tube down her throat) I swear I'm either to stupid to pick up on it or they simply never explained it.. On another note, I don't think this movie is called "Sleeping Beauty' in connection with the fairytale. I think it's Sleeping Beauty because that's exactly what she is. A sleeping Beauty. All in all. What was this movie ? I AM SO CONFUSED and not sure if I enjoyed or wasted an hour of my life..

@beautywithinevery1 Actually, in the original sleeping beauty, it took a lot more than a kiss to wake her up. Apparently she was a whore anyways! O.o

@beautywithinevery1 Well the real sleeping beauty story was that she was left in the woods and a man found her and raped her. But they changed it to make it more lighthearted for kids with a simple sleep and a kiss

Actually in the original story, the young woman is put to sleep because of a prophesy, rather than a curse. And it isn’t the kiss of a prince which wakes her up: the king seeing her asleep, and rather fancying having a bit, rapes her. After nine months she gives birth to two children (while she is still asleep). One of the children sucks her finger which removes the piece of flax which was keeping her asleep. She wakes up to find herself raped and the mother of two kids.

Untill the prince was having sex with her and she was forced to have his kids, she was also married to him. Alot of the Grimm stories had Rape and incest but Disney changed them alot to make them family friendly..in the movie she was awoken by a kiss not sex. Just so you know,
