Cream Corn Chronicles - Harvecopter Battle Demo

I haven't worked on this hack for a long time, but this sprite was just too cool not to post a video of it. Thanks to "I am the Will" for making it.

May I ask...Where did you get this sprite. I know it's from I am the Will, but if you could tell me where it is from, I would be very grateful. By the way, do you know how to install PK hack?

Good question. This wasn't one of Will's (or 'Gorsal' as he's referred to on other sites) stock sprites. Rather, I discussed the idea of this enemy with him via IM, and we worked together on designing it. I told him what I wanted it to look like, and he sprited it. At that point, my idea for the plot was still at a very early stage, so I thought it'd be interesting if I had Will sprite something more original; not only so he could get more experience, but for me to see how it'd look in-game.

Ah, I see now. Well, I think Will did a very good job at mimicing the style of Earthbound, especially the overworld sprite. Also, I must say, you have done an extra uber job on this hack. Now finally getting PK Hack, I can see how frustrating it is. May I ask if you know where I could find any good tutorials of it? (Not Starmen. net though, I've already seen theirs.)

Sadly, not much...

There's a section for EarthBound on the DataCrystal Wiki, but other than that, it's very sparce, and criminally so. It contains an incomplete ROM Map that has been of some use to me, since JHack's Reset Button's ranges and descriptions aren't always correct.

At this point, it seems, the best tutorial will be you just experimenting. It sucks that everyone has to reinvent their own wheel...

There's a fan game in the works called Mother 4, if you send them the sprite they could maybe program him in as an enemy. I mean...it DOES look like something that belongs in an EarthBound game.
