@NimrodMR4A there are a few consumers on the planet who do own their own personal jet craft. plus maintanence managers need to know this is out there to purchas for their terminals or @ least hire an outside contractor to perform what might be considered an essential function for their aircraft. remember john travolta a mere actor owns several large jet craft and parks them next to his home like mere cars.

We regulary do this on cfm 56-5 A/B on a320 familly aircraft.
But we use ardrox detergent with hot water to do this.

what does the Spar valve do? or PS3 line?

The PS3 line is closed for avoiding water entry in EEC system.
Than in cockpit the technician, pull the "ignition" brakers, than bring the fuel "control switche" in "run" position to open the "fuel valve" and the "spar valve".

Than pull the "spar valve" braker to let open the "spar valve" that allows to take fuel for lubrification, 'cause the fuel pump and the hydromechanical unit are fuel lubrificated. Finally, the "fuel control switch" is put back to "shut-off" position, closing the "fuel valve" avoiding, with the "ignition brakers" pulled too, the start-up of the engine during the motoring. Bye.
