I remember seeing them play supporting the Block'heads in 78. I remember pint glasses were going everywhere but Dave got up and started singing this and the audience were all as one. It used to be punkier than this though, They used to wear bondage trousers and clothes from the kings road then. This was filmed after they started being Irish for brief period between 84-85

@ChasNDaveVideos Yeah but come on really, Canning Town wasn't London and was Essex till roughly the same time and look at it back then and now-could it be any more 'London'?! Same as Enfield and Ponder's End in the Borough of. Common sense gents :)

@brynth123 Haha, good point! Of course, Chas & Dave aren't even from London: Chas was born in Enfield (Essex at the time, though it became part of London in the 60s) & Dave was born in Ponder's End (also Essex).
