The prophet - peace be upon him - said "Islaam ad-deen un-naseehah" ie. "Islaam is the religion of advice"..
The one who refuses to accept naseehah (advice) - especially in issues of the religion - is certainly overcome by kibr (pride)!!
Therefore accept this correct advice unless you can prove it to be wrong!!
Since i used the speech (in fact, commands) of allah and his messenger then you have no right to opine in this matter as confirmed by the qur'aan!!
-
Furthermore, you should be more clear for those with little knowledge that the second narration you quoted is a hadeeth qudsi, which mean the prophet - peace be upon him - said "ALLAH SAYS.." before narrating it!!
One of the names/attributes of allah is "al-mutakabbir" (the root word for this is "kibr", meaning "pride"), which means "the proud"!
Do you think i do not know this when indeed i am the one who first informed you of this!
-
And what is the motive behind you quoting this to me when i am the one who informed you about this?
You are the one who lied upon the prophet - peace be upon him - and not me! So do not try to go on now like i am the one with pride when you are the one who is blatantly filled with too much pride to just accept the scholars of islaam are better than you and more knowledgeable than you and should therefore be FOLLOWED by you and the rest of us who are not scholars

n a Hadith of the Holy Prophet it is narrated that,
“Whosoever has in his heart, even a atom of pride he will not enter paradise.”
“Pride is My cloak and grandeur is my trousers. If anyone disputes with Me in any one of these (two) I shall admit him into the Hell-fire.”
In the other words, pride and grandeur are two exclusive attributes of Allah, which none is allowed to apply and ascribe towards himself.
-
>> Now i warn you, the prophet DID say the one in whose heart is even tharratin (an atom) of arrogance will NOT enter jannah!!
In this hadeeth he did not say they will see the fire before jannah, but he said they will NOT see jannah!! So be warned of arrogance and humble yourself when there is even the POSSIBILITY you could be wrong!! Ask the `ulamaa and do not rely on your own baatil!!
-
>> You are clearly one of the arrogant ones who twists words and who twists what people say, and this is evidenced through your dreadfully ignorant reply!!
Are you blind? Spiritually, yes, but physically? Clearly not.. and this is evidenced through the fact you are here reading, twisting the words of people and then responding to comments you find distasteful based on your nafs!
READ the post with regard to imaam an-nawawi's commentary! Are you better than him?
-
>> And so taqleed (imitating) of those in authority of knowledge amongst us is waajib upon the common layman, and those who equate taqleed to "blind following" are the arrogant and they are themselves BLIND!! They falsely apply the meaning of the word "taqallud" upon the word "taqleed", and it is "taqallud" which is not allowed in islaam!!
-
>> And where one is not capable of determining the rulings of al-islaam by ijaazah gained from the sunnah of formal instruction from those of knowledge and ability to give ijaazah (permission) then the ahl-us-sunnah are those who obey allah's command in the qur'aan to "seek knowledge from those in authority (of knowledge) amongst you" (ie. from those with ijaazah).. It is certainly not the arrogant ones in manifest error who refuse to obey this command of allah!
-
>> ABSOLUTELY NOT!! In fact, the ahl-us-sunnah are those who act upon the four main pillars of the ahl-us-sunnah (as proven by the hadeeth with regard to mu`adh ibn jabal being given ijaazah by the prophet and sent to al-yaman by him to teach al-islaam), namely the qur'aan, the sunnah, consensus (ijmaa') and qiyaas (analogical deduction of those with ijaazah to make ijtihaad - permission to make scholarly inferences in islaam)..
the prophet (sas) said in 5 authentic hadith, that he does not fear that his ummah will perform shirk. so be like him (sas) and dont fear it. or does anyone know better than him (sas)?? this are place of barakah and any place where our beloved prophet sas has been is blessed. the sahabas (r) were drinking the water that he washed him self with!!

This sounds pretty interesting. But this tree can also be quite dangerous in the sense that it could possibly cause some people to perform acts of shirk. This actually reminds me of the hadith when some of the Muslims began to hang their swords on the tree that they gave bay3ah to the Prophet (SAW). And Omar (R.A.) cut the tree down later on to prevent people from performing acts of shirk or making pilgrimage to it. I'm not trying to anger anyone here. Just saying be careful of such things.
