Delicious Library

In this video I go over Delicious Library 2.0. It's a neat little application that's exclusive to Mac OS X (though there are multi-platform alternatives) which lets you scan barcodes of your media in order to catalogue it.

yep, you are doing it wrong :-)

Try to get the barcode closer to your isight. Not too close, but it green box is just an optical orientation and not the only area to get scanned. you don't have to hold it still, vary in angle (reflections) or rotation may also affect the "it does not want to scan it" effect.

cant get barcode scanner to work

I tried every version i could get my hands on with Tiger but none would work. The icon would just sit down in the bar, bounce twice, then do nothing. I thought it was a corupt file but when I upgraded to Leopard it worked perfectly.
