Organic food has been on numerous occasions to be called "no different" or "pointless" but alot of these critics don't understand anything about the micro-organisms in the soil which feed the plant life with nutrition, anyway a variety of pesticides have scientifically been shown to kill up to 80% of them. Also if sprayed on fruits with thin skin or root vegetables they can diffuse into the membrane and leach inside to be ingested, i buy organic when needed i'm working class and not smug at all.

People who buy organic food as such stuck up smug pricks. I used to live with one, and I have never met such a SMUG, sanctimonouse morn in my whole life. Organic food is a TOTAL con, and is not woth the money, people who buy it think their so much better than everyone else, it really pisses me off. ) :< I used to live on an organic farm in a college, and the food was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. I will, never, NEVER buy Organic EVER again. ) :< Smug ass holes.

@Fight4Privacy Bull shit, When I went to an organic college, the food was absolutely terrible, it gave me bad skin, and made me ill all the time, and it tsted absolutely horrible. Also the FSA decided that organic food is no healthier anyway.
