New Parks Library

See Teresa Delaney, the new Senior Community Librarian and Kerrie Noon, the Volunteer and Skills Development worker talk about the new library, their roles and opportunities for local people to get involved in the new Library in New Parks. The library opens on Tuesday 16th March.

New Parks Library Centre is a £1.5 million Big Lottery and City Council funded project which will make a real difference to the lives of local people.

The centre will be sited on Aikman Avenue, in the heart of the community next to shops, local housing office and bus stops.

The library is a modern building with new stock and offers free internet access. The building includes a community space, a community café, a training kitchen, an ICT training room and a sound and film recording room.
