I'm fostering these two adorable kittens. Their eyes were barely open when my friend found them in his barn. They were thin, dehydrated and covered with grime, apparently abandoned by their mother. It happens, sometimes, if the mother cat is inexperienced or doesn't have enough food for herself.
As you can see, they've come a long way thanks to help from friends, my mother, and a local group called Abandoned Animal Welfare. The tiny, filthy, hungry fur balls I started taking care of just three weeks ago have blossomed into rambunctious little girls!
This was the first time they'd ever seen a ball.
The co-star of this video is my own kitty, Radar. I adopted him from Forgotten Felines, a cat shelter in Seattle, Washington. He flew all the way to Ohio with me when I moved.
Kittens are adorable, but please spay or neuter your pets, folks. There are so many unwanted kittens that even the no-kill shelters here in northeast Ohio are being forced to put animals down. Times are tough, and people can't afford pets. For you, a trip to the vet is an inconvenience. For them, it's a matter of life and death. If you can't afford vet care, contact local shelters for help!
oh so adorable! you've got a great bunch of kittens.

They are beyond adorable!
Did you end up keeping both after all, then?
My mom's cats keep having kittens, before she gets a chance to get the momma cat spayed, and so we have about 4 litters hanging about, from ages 3 months-around 4 years old....*sigh*
She's becoming Cat Lady !
