That's true. I'm still working on it. I haven't beating him on all the stages, just the ones I've played a lot.

in fact he's easy to beat when playing Story mode, the real challenge is to beat him @ time trial

When you play as Polar or Pura, the Adventure game is set to Easy or Beginner mode. That might be one reason for why he's really easy to beat.
