Nice video. But got to disagree that verbal abuse can ever be violent. The definition of violence must be limited to actual physical harm to sentient beings. I agree violence is a tool that should only be use in defence of yourself or another.

Violence can be verbal too... it can harm, even if not physically... see violence definitions:

1. Physical force exerted for the purpose of violating, damaging, or abusing: crimes of violence.

2. The act or an instance of violent action or behavior.

3. Intensity or severity, as in natural phenomena; untamed force: the violence of a tornado.

4. Abusive or unjust exercise of power.

5. Abuse or injury to meaning, content, or intent.

There are many definitions of violence, for the most part they are far to broad in my view. Similarly terrorism is often broadly defined to assist the powers that be. I feel we fall into their trap when we use such definitions. Is an animal rights activist shouting 'scum' at an animal researcher committing an act of violence? Clearly not. It is the researcher committing an act of violence towards the animals he/she attacks.

@hippydude89 men were also the only one's involved in the war effort, men were the only one's drafted to war women were kept safe. most of the work force were also men. Why should anyone who doesn't serve their country have a right to vote in it?

and the fact is in the old days when america was first founded only the RICH and ELITE founding fathers could vote,men of lower class couldn't. but yet those lower class men didn't bitch and moan about not voting.

women are not evolutionarily predisposed to violence like men. In the evolutionary setting of our ancestors, the women would stay at home and protect the offspring whilst the man would go out hunt, and fight off warring tribes and the like.
