Crawling is just such an exciting stage of development. It is just unbelievable what babies are capable of doing at just six months of age. So their muscles get a little bit stronger and then what we start to see is that their bellies lift up and then you have got the hands and feet that start moving alternately. You really just need to create a safe environment for them to crawl.

You need to pump up your super vision so that you are really watching them to make sure they are safe. But whether a baby wants to crawl to a colorful toy or just reach the leg of a table, they just have this terrific interest in everything that is around them and all they want to do is get their hands on that. So just enjoy the crawling stage. Watch them carefully and take note of what they are interested in.
