I was born in Duluth and I so badly go back and visit. I was 1 1/2 when we moved. I still have lots of family there. I have been in failing health and need to contact someone from my family. On the good, The Twin Ports have the industry (paper mills, cement plants, at least 3 or 4 large grain elevators, an oil refinery and gas pipeline connected to Canada, the home of Amsoil, Iron ore and coal docks. Its is just a shame though that the area is so liberal that these resources aren't put to their full use. Not to mention that the city of Duluth is broke, unlike Superior.

Fantastic tour of old, cold Duluth. I left Minnesota in '90 and now I'm in San Diego, and I swear if I ever see a snowflake coming down, I'm headed straight fer Tijuana and all frontiers south. bbbob
