Taken Mother's Day 2010 - Pauls Valley, OK.

Driving down a country road when we encountered a raccoon sitting in the middle of the road. When we came to a stop, he turned on us, and tried to chase our Mini-Van as I threw it in reverse to back away.

After chasing us a bit down the road, he turned and darted into the ditch and into a pasture where he attacked a mule and a donkey... This is where the video picks up. After giving up on the mule and donkey, it then tried to take on a bull. That was when I ran out of memory on the stick, and headed to the house to get my pistol.

When we got back, the coon had stopped messing with the bull, and was chasing the mule and donkey again as they were trying to stomp him. When they saw us pull up and get out, the mule and donkey took off, and the coon just stayed there on the ground making faces.

2 shots from a 9mm put the poor critter out of its misery and ended that adventure. Hope it didn't pass its disease on to the mule, donkey or bull. :(

  • You shoulda notified the owners of those animals... I'm pretty sure donkeys and cows CAN get rabies...and the cow was even touching it.

  • @UmatsuObossa - That's the first thing we did after 'disposing' of the raccoon... Was notify the owners ( the house you see in the background ) of what happened... And that there was a danger that their animals might have been bitten.

I don't really know if there's a 'preventative' step they can take with their livestock, but if there is, I sure hope they took it.

  • Why is the guy laughing at it ? Rabies is hardly a joking matter ...

  • rabbid

  • @UmatsuObossa The dude who published this video, sounds like he wouldn't know his left hand from his right.

  • no that is a sick racoon. They donot do this when normal. If rabies which ,I think it is also if bits the cattle they catch it too.Unless inoculated.

  • The coon with his beck arched is saying stay away. He is defending his territory protecting young that are near by. That coon thinks the donkey is a threat. Whisperers are sinning. That's how we get myths of many things with humans, and pets getting pills etc, put into them. They would be horrified if they found out what was in those pills, and shots. They would picket by the billions around the world to eliminate those things from being given to anything, and endorse, upcspine, U,C,S, care.

  • @toddwills Maybe if you read the description you'd find out what really happened

  • Well, congratulation! You just did nothing to stop the raccoon! You allowed the infected animal to harass and spread the infection to domesticated animals! I hope your daughter gets attacked too for your negligence!

  • lmfao! That is nuts! It be nice if you had actually got a close-up of it dealing with the cow so the owners knew whether or not it got bit
