ummm, Touch The World was born out of something different. If you watch this video you can see that Maurice had some immediate plans for music videos/concerts and stuff that never came around.

Don't you consider their 1987 "Touch The World" album...?

It's a shame whatever vision Maurice had at this time didn't grow. It seemed it all ended during Powerlight...great album but they just couldn't hold it together. I think Maurice went to far ahead and blew himself out. Such was the end of the great era of EWF. Aside from Electric Universe, it all ended pretty well.

@1980Triumph They got as big as a group could get...they had a 10 year run which not even The Beattles had. Nobody will top Thriller by MJ.

things were supposed to be different for EWF, it seems after this they got lost and the lack of success of Powerlight fueled the mistake that was Electric Universe, but from this video things were supposed to be different, they probably thought they would have success like MJ eventually had

Thanks, mate, but did you get to see the 3prt? sometimes, the "related box" shows there is a 3rd prt sometimes it doesn't. I've now stated in the video info box that this interview is in 3 prts
