There was a phenomenal BBC show titled Life on Mars. This song was a recurring theme, and the the quote CoalShifter gave was attached to the opening of every episode. It's a relatively short show; the writers told their story and finished it. Cannot recommend enough! Very smart, incredibly well written. A truly great show.
