From a new York giants fan point the 49ers couldn't have beat the patriots. They don't have the power offense in order to keep up with the pats scoring. You know every other drive they have points on the board. Even against a good defense.

The 49ners dominated the giants until mike williams single-handedly (or should I say NO-handedly) gave NY that game. Now for the 49ers and giants game. As a giants fan I am but I still have to be honest it was all williams fault. First he let the ball hit his knee during the punt return...and when I saw that I knew he going screw up again or probelly I jinx him? Later on the same punt play same old williams lost the ball and the giants got it. I saw that play and I was like YEP I KNEW HE WILL SCREW UP AGAIN. As many incomplete passes Alex Smith had from the 4th quarter to the OT, it was still poor mans fault.

This year i think the 49ers would of crushed the Patriots in the superbowl, the defense stepped up in the playoffs, and was dominate. I dont think Brady would of had time in the pocket like he always does, yeah Brady would probably start to throw short, fast passes, but the niners Defense is so stingy with YAC.
