This time longer than before (including "The Last Supper" and Leonardo's contribution to science).
Enjoy!

Stephen tries to talk about Da Vinci when Alan says that a man in a painting holding Da Vinci's wrist looks like Rodney Bewes, which makes the whole panel talk about Rodney Bewes instead.
(the clip is taken from the "Genius" XL episode on the G series / Series G.)

I do not own the rights to the clip.

  • Leonardo did other stuff, he decoded my codex pages

haha I love it :D Great laugh! Love both AC2 and Brotherhood. I didn't like the part in Brotherhood though where they had to imply that Leonardo preferred men (after the final Leonardo's Machines mission I think). 1. It's irrelevant 2. No one knows for sure, all we have is just speculations. Apparently Leonardo was charged with sodomy, but as we know, Leonardo was a curious person :)

  • @Akfilm92 Can't you sodomize women ? Just saying :P And I doubt it would've ever bothered the Italians that much.

  • @Selothi

Haha, well yes, but the term "sodomy" is usually referred to a man, and I believe it was with a man he was discovered.

  • This rivals the "Giant Tortoise" clip. When Stephen Fry drops the Brian Blessed reference, I was rolling on the floor.

  • One of my favorite snippets of any QI ep :P

  • @Akfilm92 TL;DR

  • @iamone119 That brillaint X'D

  • @Elzebub666 yes 300 is somewhat romantised

  • @Daleksaresupreme1 Which was what made me laugh in 300 where they refereded to the Athenians as 'boy lovers', since if you don't know anything Spartans, you think they are calling them gay ... which would be a rather large case of hypocrisy.

  • @TheSovietX your right in fact in sparta it was compulsory

  • "This the last bloody supper I'M ever going to!"

  • @Akfilm92 Must remember, homosexuality was the norm during the time. Think back to the ancient greeks, homosexuality was practiced by nearly all men. Alexander the Great had sex with his soldiers during his campaigns.

    KNOWLEDGE IS POWER!

  • @Akfilm92

He was involved Giacomo Caprotti aka Salai.
