This was recorded on July 24th, 1914 making it the earliest known recording to be labeled (Fox Trot) and also the second blues record.
Catalog # Columbia A5591

It also is labeled with the statement ;
"Under the supervision of G. Hepburn Wilson"
George Hepburn Wilson incidentally two days later on July 26th, 1914 placed the first advertisement for teaching the Fox Trot
