Very light wind day. Just a short session of static flying the Apex II 5m Depower kite. Depower's aren't really designed to be at their best for static flying. More for being on the move with a landboard or buggy. When the wind comes up or drops away you can sheet in or out to suit. The Apex is reasonably nimble for a depower, but you can tell it's a lot slower to respond than a fixed bridle would be. The 7.5m Apex II is a fabulous buggy engine. Haven't had enough time on the 5m to comment yet!
Indeed very relaxing ans sweet to watch. Very good view too of the kite flying behind the bar. This is the kite I want to buy for doing snowkite this winter. HQ have a very good product line and are affordable too. So far, how do you like your Apex?

@aldaris38 This is probably my most used kite at the moment. Starts pulling me around in the buggy from about 12 knots and I'm comfortable to 25ish. Perhaps not quite as forgiving or as good quality as the Ozone stuff but Ozone is considerably more expensive too. If I was only allowed to have one kite - this would probably be it. The 7.5m is excellent too. I find the 5m Apex has roughly the same power as a Access XC 6m but with much better light wind ability.
