Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (2009) Eng Subbed Teaser

(Assuming this is a restart as opposed to a sequel... :D)

Story: When two brothers, Edward and Alphonse Elric tried to revive their mother using Alchemy, something went drastically wrong. Edward lost his leg and his arm, and Alphonse lost his entire body. Now, a few years later, Edward becomes what's known as a "State Alchemist" or a Nationally recognized Alchemist. Along with Alphonse, who's spirit has been put into a metal suit of armor, and his Automail leg and arm, the two brothers set out to find a way to restore themselves.

does anyone else think that brotherhood was better than the first anime? I mean, it kept with the manga and i think just because people saw the FMA anime first they dont liek the 2nd one that sticks to the manga(even though it is a little bit rushed around ep. 15 :P)

The ww2 stuff wouldn't even existed if they did not need a rush story for fillre because they ratings were so bad.

The original anime was bad anyways. It had low ratings in japan (when that filler crap kicked in). The movie was only done because of fanfair, and it also sold very bad.

The brotherhood series on the otherhand sold fairywell, and they decided to make a movie.

Don't blame anybody but the ratings. People like good stuff, not bad stuff.

Yep! Remember that Hiromu Arakawa won a prize on 2003 for the manga.

For that reason (and many more) it's worth reading the manga and watching this new series!
