I was anorexic and I got very sick.

I have some neuro damage and gut problems. I stopped anorexia because I was scared to death when I got very sick but I still can not lead a normal life, can not work full-time, can not have fun.

I hate myself for being so stupid!

Can I ask how old you are as its so rare to meet another male anorexic who looks older than a teenager? I am also anorexic and I am 40 and yesterday I told my doctor I have an eating disorder.. it was scary but I did it.
