Over the top Hollywood crap as usual, taking credit for what the British did. No wonder the British Legion tried to have it banned in the UK, at least for the REAL heroes who died recovering the Enigma.

He closed his account down last month. He does know about the British Navy capturing the the enigma machine 1st. He is saying that the movie shows how the U.S. Navy tried to play its part in the Battle of the Atlantic.

But don't you get it? The movie isn't true. It is only Hollywood. The truth is that the British Navy captured Enigma codes from u110 in 1941, before the US had even entered the war...

I did read about that. This movie shows how we tried to play a part in the Battle of the Atlantic. This movie is great. The suspense drives you to the the edge of your seat and the sound effects are incredible. I saw this movie in theatres and I bought the DVD 2 1/2 years ago for 6 bucks from Game Stop.

The film's plot, though a work of fiction, is partly based on real events. It attracted criticism for two reasons: first, it was British personnel from HMS Bulldog who first captured a naval Enigma machine, from U-110 in the North Atlantic May 1941, This movie is pro=american.Hollywood crap

Best movie I have ever seen. I have loved this movie ever since I saw it in theatres back in 2000.
