On June 23, 2006, fans of Joss Whedon's 'Serenity' came out to the Studio Movie Grill in Addison, Texas for a special screening to benefit Equality Now. The screening was part of the global Can't Stop The Serenity event.
I remember that night like it was yesterday. but I gave them a run for there money for that big damn bag in the red room. It was a ton of fun I hope we can do something like that again next year.
Thanks for sharing! I was sad I couldn't make it to the one in Tampa. I ended up just buying a dvd (lol, and I already own one) on his b-day. But hmmm, maybe I'll go see about donating at the equality now site. lol
