NewFOUNDland... is the smaller island bellow the large province they called NewFOUNDland .... what they actually labelled was Labrador.... o - o ... js
And yes, as another Newfie commenting on this video, it IS pronounced new- FOUND- land ... the found is pronounced more dominantly then the word land.
And to those calling it new-fin-land, where do you see "fin" in this? -->Newfoundland

I have a aussie newfoundland he was great dog for me and my older brothers and is a great dog for my brothers kids :) great familey dog! He lays there while my nieces gives him a makeover lol. These are really great dogs :)

getting a newfie to play with my wolf hybrid, hes saved me one night when i was walking (we live out in the country, so i dont use his lead) anyway i was walking and a loose hunting dog charged me, bit me once and then all of the sudden i heard my wolf growl, then he snapped the hunting dogs neck in one bite/twist..

i hadn't given my newfoundland any training in the water. My first lesson i was at the beach and a wave took me way out and it was such a strong wave it knocked me out my dog Ellie saw me bobbing up and down in the water and ran in and saved me if it wasn't for Ellie i woud not be here today and I'm 15 years old this was 20 weeks ago! thank you Ellie love you x
