its basically talking about a good person turning his back on what he dreamed of for money & fame & sold his soul so he could become bigger than before. i honestly think this song is VERY interesting but, because its not something that the black eyed peas usually sing most of you guys find it boring. these are real lyrics about something that really goes on in the music industry but, yall only hear the beat not the lyrics. : /

Don't be stupid, guys...they're obviously not singing about themselves...true fans know that they're doing music from the heart....all right, succes brought them lots of money..but it doesn't mean, they're addicted to them / material things ..

Their club songs are the most popular last time but they never forget where they came from...they still have songs like this or Where Is The Love on their new albums. Listen to Play It Loud...or One Tribe..BEP NEVER "SOLD THEIR SOULS" and PEABODIES KNOW IT
