Honda 70 Memories
This Video was taken in 1972 by my Father using a super 8mm film camera.(now converted to DVD)...We start out with the first day we got our Honda 70's, and a Honda 50 at our house in Warren Michigan, Then we take them up north to our Familys cabin upnorth on the banks of the Muskegon River in Redding Township, where we embark on some trail riding, we hit the trails with three Honda 70's and two rutman mini-bikes, and go to one of our favorite hill climing spots,, then off to the oil wells of Clare County through the town of Temple by the old temple party store and past the old State Park,,about a 40 mile round trip there & back to the cabin. Although The Party Store, camp ground and many of the trails are closed due to privite property owners our trail riding memories and good times we had back then live on forever.. I was only 12 years old,,, now I'm 48 & yes we still have some of the original Honda 70's we rode back then & we still Ride Today,,!! on some of the same trails. (I'm the one wearing the Gold helmet in some of the footage)

I just got my dads 1970 CT70, it's metal flake gold. I think it's time to restore it and let my kids enjoy it.

I just got an old Z50a, great fun to ride, needs a little work, but considering it’s age (1978) it is in good shape. Looking to buy a CT70.

I wish my dad would have taken video of me and my brothers doing the same. We had a cabin near Irons, MI. We did alot of riding in the Manestee National Forest. This was in the early to mid 70's. Thank you for sharing your memories.

Obesity didn't really exist then when kids enjoyed physical activities. 

Video games will be the death of American kids. My parents couldn't afford to

buy me a CT70 let alone a bike. Now that I have a job and older I had to buy

two and been enjoying them.

I love this video !! This was also my friends and me back in '72 ridin our minibikes !! I had a bronco minibike with shocks and disc brakes and a 4 hp tecumseh motor. they were definitely good times back then. Thank you for this video !!
