I have to ask, how do creationists believe the humanity kept on going, since eve only had two sons, and one of them was murdered by the other?
Didn't Cain have to fuck his mother? No wait, isn't incest a sin? And wouldn't their kids be very very ill people?
Isn't it just more logical to accept the adam and eve story as metaphorical? Come on men, all the other christians have got to that point, and let's face it, they all feel ashame of criationists.

To me, it's not an issue of whether or not they hate the gays; as private institutions, its within any church's constitutional right to hold such ignorant sentiments, and its also our right to disagree with them.
The real problem is when anyone is deprived of their rights for being who they are, especially because of religious intolerance. Say what you will, but there are many christian sects which dehumanize the gay community; take Ted Haggard as an example.
