hi mate. Its not a KV, well it may have started life that way. Its actually an RE2500 built buy GTi ENGINEERING based at silverstone in the UK .
Its basically a 'stroker' with a chrome molly crank, forged pistons, forged rods, a slight over bore, bigger valves, and ported and polished 10valve head.
plus a Schrick 272 camshaft thrown in for good measure. ;)
lol.. i didn't. the engine was tuned some time ago, (when these cars were in production & it would have made some sense) and more recently has been rebuilt. All i did was buy the engine from the guy after he rebuilt it . lol :)
a 2.5l doesn't exhist only the 2.2 kv

190bhp & 180lb.ft all naturally aspirated. =)

Why would you spend that amount of money for 190bhp tops when the 2.2 5 cylinder turbo does 230bhp standard and 258lb/ft
