not everyone can afford a damn stihl i have the same Poulan and it runs just beautifuly and cuts like butter.

@Rarrin9378 i agree with you 100% i have a 16 " poulan had it for years all i ever do is use it and use it hard! get home clean it up blow it out with the air compressor use good gas and oil and keep the bar and chain in good condition!!! never had aproblem with it yet!!!

I paid 129 for my 18 inch new pulan. already assembled and with extra chain and a quart of chain oil.

I own a stihl 029 and a 044 great saws, how ever I also own 2 poulans and they are not bad saw as long as you keep them clean and a good sharp chain on them you can't go wrong.

Not a bad saw, hell mine isnt a bitch to start like a lot of people say. Keep the gas stablilzed it should be good. I take that saw out and beat the living shit out of it and it has held up well.
